Alicia Gerrard - Founder
Alicia brings over a decade of professional acting experience, contributing to notable productions like BBC's Ripper Street, History’s Vikings, and Apple TV's Foundation. Her journey extends beyond acting, with roles as a director, screenwriter and script supervisor, encompassing films and theatre productions.
Alicia has had the privilege of teaching drama to a diverse range of children, accumulating rich experiences across various ages and backgrounds. With distinctions in London Trinity Guildhall and ATCL exams in Performance, Alicia has demonstrated her commitment to excellence in the field of drama. She has taught drama and run workshops with esteemed institutions such as The Abbey Theatre, Innovations Theatre School, Transformation Academy and Play Act Drama. Her dedication to drawing creativity out of children extends to her work with organisations like ADHD Ireland, Dyspraxia Ireland, and All Abilities Ireland, where she has shared the joy of drama with children and teenagers. With a deep passion for both the film industry and theatre education, Alicia aspires to create a special environment for children, emphasising creativity, confidence-building, and the joy of lasting friendships. Alicia recently co-founded Pilot Junior Filmmakers, blending business acumen from founding an audio production company with her passion for storytelling. Her goal is to bring something fresh and inspiring to children and teens in Waterford, providing lifelong tools like communication, teamwork, problem-solving, creative expression, and bonding through storytelling.
